It looks obvious

A tube for spam

Comments

This is new , and annoying, phenomena. Youtube is being used to send spam messages, that bypass the anti-spam messages. Here is how its work - first the spammer post a spam message on the YouTube message system, which trigger an e-mail to the e-mail address specified by the user. The results are - double spam: at Youtube inbox and at the user e-mail address. This problem should be to complicate to solve, a simple CAPTCHA can eliminate the vast majority of spam messages, but ignoring it going to annoy the users to no end.

regardless to say that my e-mail to YouTube’s customer service about this issue remained un-answered.

UPDATE: I had to remove the screenshot that was here origanally due to problems it caused the server. I add link to it in the beginning of the post. Additionally some good soul in Digg created a mirror site with the original post.
