 Do you remember those days when USA use to be pioneer of consumer technology. Not any more, definitely not when Telecom and broadband involve.

The Register reports that NTL , a British cable company, is going to start trails of 100MB next month. And this happing while we are wasting our time discussing the crazy idea of payment for delivery priority on 5MB networks…

The UK cableco, which has received the thumbs up to acquire Telewest and is still holding talks to buy Virgin Mobile, is hooking up with US outfit ARRIS to run the trials. The firms have already completed testing in the lab, but want to see how well the technology works in the real world.
