Weekend on the beach
While many people got ready for the DNC convention in Denver and had a lot to say about the nomination of Senator Biden as Obama’s running mate, we were on the beach in Brigantine. The weather was excellent, I woke up early enough to make some fair attempts capturing the sunrise:
Tseela was making her first steps in surfing:
And Ronie was cute, as usual:

Ronie’s first time in Day Care
Today I took Ronie to visit, and to get use too, the day care she going to attend this year. I remembered how hard was it with Tseela, and how long it took her to adjust and to enjoy going to day care - and I was afraid that this is going to repeat itself with Ronie. But to my surprise after about five minutes of sadness she was perfectly OK. The only time that she cried was when she was forced to go home…
Few more pictures, mostly because I was forced to go away, can be found here.
Weekend’s photos post
I’m posting here few pictures that I took today while we had friends over for cookout. I’m pretty proud with the results, I guess it is thanks to the good food, wine and the great company.

Irresistible
I know, I know, I’m not really objective on this matter but I don’t really care. She is really something isn’t she?
Ronie going to the amusement park
Like last year Anna’s company decided to have their annual picnic at Lake Compounce, a theme park which we really like. The trip to Connecticut was more than worth it is we happened to win a trip to Europe…

Movement and light
I am finding a lot of pleasure in developing my new hobby and acquiring new skills. Ronie is the immediate victim - as she is very cute and to young to resist, but I’m expending my range. In the picture below I was able to execute a reasonable panning and the results are in front of you:
Few more pictures can be found here. On the way home Ronie was excited that she can see the sunlight through the tree’s leafs, so we stopped to take a picture. The composition isn’t great but I like the arrangements of colors so here it is:
Expressions
I think that I’m becoming better in capturing Ronie’s expressions and behavior. I took few pictures today that I really like, and obviously you get to suffer
As usual, the rest of the batch is here
Jumping
I stopped on the way home at the local swimming pool and saw that Ronie enjoying jumping to the water, so I took some quick photographs to share with the world:
Few more pictures here.
Eating noodles
It is so much fun to watch Ronie growing up. Here I captured her handling her food.
Few more pictures can be found, as always, here.
Ronie going to the museum
Ronie visited today, for the first time, the Children Museum of Manhattan, and she really loved it. The four floors are full of fun activities and we had to explore most of these activities before she was willing to go home. It was interesting to see her interactions with other children and how ready she is to go to a day care.
As always, the rest of the batch is here.
