Short Note about PR
I’m finding very little redeeming qualities in the public relations profession. In any case when I encountered with public relations it is never a case of presenting the reality but in covering and confusing the issues. It is sad that people, some of them really talented, see more benefit in working in such profession instead of using their creativity to actual add value and create things. I cannot find any value in running a PR campaign that ultimately will make Wikipedia irrelevant , or by smearing a journalist who criticized some questionable standards of some PR firms in his blog.
I’ll be happy to learn about real example of good deed done by PR professionals, I promise to publish them as a separate post. However I doubt if I’ll get any.
