The proper response
Fox news’ decision to not include Ron Paul in its upcoming round table debate is, no doubt, a clear indicator of the low standards of news reporting. The “fair and balance” network’s decision to exclude Ron Paul, despite the NH GOP position that he should be included, and despite the fact that his polls numbers in IW and NH are higher than some of the candidates that are going to participate in the debate - including once the front runner Giuliani, is obviously an attempt to silence a non neo-conservative position in the GOP primaries.
However statements like this:
So, it’s all about Fox News. Paul’s out because he’s not a Fox News Bush-clone. Say whatever you want about the guy, Fox News shouldn’t be able to silence him because they don’t like his views.
are simply wrong. Fox news allowed to exclude or include any person from their shows. It is the GOP decision if the participate in such farce, and its the viewers decision if the are going to buy to the faux news network promise of “we report, you decide”. I, for example, don’t watch faux news for many years - I don’t have time to waste on their propaganda in disguise of news reporting.
