Debating the issues

Comments

I’m far from being Clinton’s supporter, on the contrary it is hard for me to see an issue that we would agree on. However I am very impressed with her presidential campaign. I don’t know if it an planned strategy but it is clear that unlike her main opponent strategy, Clinton is talking about the issues.

Although I completely disagree with Clinton’s position about the role of government in society, I do appreciate the fact that she is willingly debate the issue:

But what I want to talk about today has nothing to do with whether our government is big or small – and everything to do with whether it is competent or incompetent, whether it is corrupt or honest, whether it is devoted to the public interest or beholden to the special interests.

I have many problems with the ten points Clinton raised in her speech, but I do appreciate the fact that she raised points I can at least consider. Kind of make me fantasize about a public debate between her and Ron Paul
