It looks obvious

Reading the Sunday Times made we wonder if someone lost his mind. Obviously the leak for such article can be to send a message to the other side, a warning in disguise of real news report. However, assuming that this was the reason that triggered this article, the simple fact is that it confirmed Iran’s deepest fears. Such report should only push the Iranian to complete its nuclear development before someone can use nuclear attack without the fear of second strike.

But there is of course the possibility that this news report is real, and the plan it describe is not only a "what if" plan - the kind armies doing, and should do, a lot. The possibility that the leadership in Israel and the US is so desperate to save their political image, their place in history,  that they might consider such move.

The problem is that its bound to fail. Not necessarily the attack itself, the attack might be tactical master piece. However, nuclear attack will only convince the entire Middle-East that it is crucial to get, in any possible way, nuclear weapons. It will put a complete end for the hope for better Middle-East, and a devastating end to the fight to defeat the Islamic terror.

I can only hope that their is a better plan, which I cannot understand, and that my pessimistic analysis is completely wrong.
