The city of New York in its war on personal choice, and individual rights, considering a new target - the first amendment. The busybody banning bad things city already joined the crusade to prevent from mothers the choice to decide that they would not want to breast feed. But why stop in health issues? We have more territories to exercise control! So the next thing is the freedom of speech, and next? I’m to afraid to guess…

The New York City Council, which drew national headlines when it passed a symbolic citywide ban earlier this year on the use of the so-called n-word, has turned its linguistic (and legislative) lance toward a different slur: bitch.

The term is hateful and deeply sexist, said Councilwoman Darlene Mealy of Brooklyn, who has introduced a measure against the word, saying it creates “a paradigm of shame and indignity” for all women.
