Some perspective please
Sometime we need to read the news from other parts of the world to put things in proper perspective. Yes the status of personal liberties isn’t what we are wanted to be, but it is still much better than in other places like this:

Or like this:

We have much to improve in terms of human rights and liberties. But we have to also remember that the nature of the blogosphare is to inflame and to sometimes distort the proper perspective of a story, or an issue. We tend to be rap with our own stories and we forget that it is much worse out their
