    Thanks for doing this. It is very meaningful and touching. Tom Palmer is now trying to organize rallies in various parts of the world, and we organized one in Bahrain not too long ago.

    We won’t stop until Kareem is freed. Please keep fighting for his basic human rights.

    We have along way until we can see a change in the Middle East, but it is crucial and we should not give up.

Rally report

Freedom of Speech

It was a cold day yesterday, but it didn’t stop a few of us - too few if you ask me - from gathering in front of the Egyptian consulate. The response to the rally was interesting: the people inside to consulate tried ignored us, obviously, but the curiosity was to strong to resist and we saw them glancing at us. The best response we got was from the cabs’ drivers who express their support.
Sadly, I don’t think this will actually help Kareem, which his hearing was postponed, but the statement was important enough for me to be their.

and by the way, the old person with the yellow sign is me - now in the archives as another radical demonstrator :)
