Good political scandal

I have to say that the latest contravention about the firing of the US attorneys, and mostly about the question about the house authority to subpoena the presidents top aids to testify under oath.

The turf fights between the two branches of government are usually a good thing. Those type of political struggles keep both branches are very good tool to restrict any of these branches getting too powerful. Particularly I like the fact that finally the house start acting to restrict the Bush administration who made it a corner stone to restore the Nixonian type of executive power. I know that the current actions are done mostly because of political games, and partisan calculations - but the results might be a pure benefit for democracy.
