Successful weekend

with 6 comments

This weekend we focused on relaxation, and it work pretty well. We had great time with friends and the children. What can be better than a good company, good food and a reasonable amount of alcohol?

As Usual more pictures can be found here.

  1. will you look at that Fara Fawcett hair?? lol I believe the little one is Ronie right? How fast they grow, and your older one Tseela, is she getting ready for first grade? What class will she be in? She looks so big too (comparing from memory with some of the other pictures you posted of her)..  It is indeed a great weekend when you can relax with friends, no need to fuss, just good food, good conversation and yes, a wee bit of alcohol (a 'wee' for me because it makes me too sleepy too quickly) and your time off is well spent, cheers!Ingrid

  2. ps.. I posted on the latest ad campaign from the Save Darfur organization.  Did you see the ad in the WSJ? I liked it. Never knew the China-Sudan connection in terms of their weapons sales. Anyhow.. I figured I'd write on it even though the few people that read it cannot effect anything.. how people are detached aren't they?Ingrid

  5. I knew about the China - Sudan connection. China needs the oil so desperately and it never cared for Human Rights -  why should the Chinese government care about the Darfurians Human Rights  when it abuses the Human Rights of its own people?
Being angry at china, or trying to create public pressure on Sudan through china is an experiment in time wasting. I think that it will be more fruitful to start to create pressure on France that its interests and policies in Sudan are no different than China - I wrote about it almost a year ago.
