And if it wasn’t clear, we are back.

My usual  commute is about an hour, hour and ten minutes. But today’s, because of the holiday, the commute is horrible. I’m on the bus for 2 hours already and I’m at least 20 minutes away from home.

Luckily I have cellular card and I can blog from the bus

I can’t say I’m not disappointed. I always loved the fact that del.cio.us is a SOCIAL bookmarking service and I think it might lose a little of the site’s charm.
If you don’t want to share links with other people, don’t I think if people have the option NOT to share, they’ll think twice before sharing.

Orly is wrong and right at the same time. Some people want to publish their favorite links, while other using del.cio.us as a method to save information across several computers. Limiting the use of del.icio.us for the uses Orly approved will limit the potential of this service.

But she is also extremely correct when she is worried that people aren’t going to share everything and all the time. I’m growing wary with all the socialist voices leading the so called Web 2.0 . If you want to share, it fine with me; if you are going to build virtual communities chanting the slogans about the great revolution, enjoy. You have no right to force everyone else to join. I, for once, refuse to see the light.

We are finally back at home. The vacation was very nice and it was even nicer to be with family and to meet with friends. One of the most striking experiences we had this holiday was traffic. As I wrote before traveling on Thanksgiving Day from Tampa Florida to Baltimore was as smooth as possible and to my surprise driving back from Baltimore to NY wasn’t worse than any weekend commute.
Tseela had, as always, wonderful time. Although we are trying to prepare her for the changes in the family status and for having a sister baby, I’m sure that not being in the center of the universe going to be hard to adjust. She did not comeback from Baltimore empty handed and as you can see below she really likes the quilt that her aunt Marina gave her.

On the way from Tampa, FL to Baltimore, MD. I have to say that Thanksgiving traveling experience is not bad at all so far. We took 2 hours as extra time factored to our airport arrangement but it was done in less then 10 minutes (including returning the rental car).
I’m impressed!
I hope it will be the same in Atlanta, GA and BWI
