Are we over protecting our children?
A while ago I posted about a mother that allow her young child to ride the NY subway alone. I read her op-ed with a mix of admiration and hesitation. While I do agree with the main premise that we underestimate the abilities of our children and overestimate the risks, I am not sure where the line is. Yes we tend to be over protective and yes we are crippling our children, but am I ready to send my child alone on the NY subway? I’m not so sure.

Dancing
Flickr, my favorite online picture service, added the ability to upload short video clips. From what I understand the clips will be limited to 90 seconds but the file quality will be higher than similar services. I decided to “test” the new service with a short clip of the girls, here are the results:

Stormy Weekend

Usualy the view from the Window is of the hudson Bay and of the statue of Liberty, not today.
