It looks obvious

I didn’t write here for long time, and just before before a final decision to close the place I decided to give it one more chnce.
So here I’m for one more round.

I got pretty frustrated with my recent blog writing block. However I’m so preoccupied with Job finding that I have very little mental patient to write a blog post. So, instead of writing deep and thoughtful, as if I ever did, blog posts and instead of actually focusing in finding new job I changed again the theme of the blog.

The theme name is Journalist which is very light and allow maximum attention to the actual content. I like it, and I hope that you’ll like it too. The comments, by the way, moved back from the sidebar to the bottom of the post.

A comment on one of the posts yesterday lead me to try a new comments service. The comment section is on the side of the post, where you should see the Disqus logo, and it suppose to have many goodies and make my life, and the random commentators lives, easier. I’m going to try it for a little while and if you would like to offer some feedback I will surely appreciate it.

thousand posts ago, about 18 months ago, I started this blog. I didn’t know it when I started but blogging is, at least for me, fun. When I started I thought that it will be like "singing in the bath", since no one will ever stop by. However, and to my great surprise, some people start visit here regularly and most I start conversations with some of them - which is even more fun.

What about the future of the blog? I have know idea, I guess we will have to wait and see in thousand more posts.

PS  - as I mark thousand posts as a nice milestone I decided to make some design changes, If any of the changes that I’ll test in the next few days (and mostly during the weekend) doesn’t work well please let me know.

I did not write, and hardly read, in the last two days because I’m pretty sick. I find it hard to write something coherent when I have high fever, or at least severely less coherent than usual

The blog, and its writer, taking a short vacation. We are hading to a family vacation down in Disney World and intend to have a lot of fun. I probably will post some pictures while we are in Orlando, but not much more.

No more Snap preview on this blog. It is not because of you, it because of me - I realized that it is annoying me. If you are missing it, I’m sure that you can install the snap firefox extension that will do the same trick (you are using firefox, yes? )

The next development on the blog, a dramatic move to pen and paper

Few months a go I introduced in the blog the link preview and asked for feedback. Aside with one, positive, comment I never heard about before so I assumed that it is fine with the blog’s reader (yes the two of you! ). However, and since I become aware through reading in other places about an increasing displeasure with this tool, I will share with you a simple method to never be bother with the preview tool again.

Once the preview image popping up a right click will reveal that one of the options is: "Block images from spa.snap.com". choose this option and you are preview free.

Apparently the upgrade to Wordpress 2.1 was not as smooth as I thought. Thanks to e-mail I got today I found that my RSS feed isn’t functioning properly. If you are an RSS subscriber please update your RSS reader with the following feed .

I added plugin to the blog which provide preview to any link on the site. It seems cool, and maybe useful to the readers here. I would like to know if it is improving the reading experience or is it simply annoying, so I can decide if to keep or remove this plugin.
