On the miss-use of technology
Today I was reading, in a blog that I’m usually enjoy reading, that copyrights (or the insisting on keeping them) are the enemy of the future social development. Well then - Im with the enemy. For me the word “mine” is a holly word. Nobody should have the right on my property. The fruits of one’s effort and talent belongs to one and nobody else has rights on them, nobody. In the same token one has the right to give away the product of his work if one choose to do so - and nobody should have the right to prevent it.
Ideas like giving up on the rights of privacy or property rights together with saying that:
seems like a socialist ideology. I’ll say it briefly here and I’ll probably write about it more in the future: The rights of the individual are more important than the interest of the community. So please do not rush to give up on my rights while you building better eBay - its not worth it.

Interesting...I guess when I was thinking about copyright, I was thinking about it in an RIAA way - copyrights being owned by big entities. What a blunder. I didn't stop to think about individual copyright. I totally agree that your data/work/etc. is yours and only yours. I'm a 'Creative Commons' girl - and I'm one of those people who say, "Come one, come all - take it and use it freely (although I don't think I give rights to use my work commercially)".
Hmmmm...it's like a double-edged sword, isn't it? I'm going to think on this one a bit. Thanks for your thoughtful post.

We all hate RIAA for the ways they abuse the rights, but until the artist and we stop using them they will get along with it. doesn't make a different between Individual and Corporation here.
I'm impress with your intellectual honesty, really!

Is not the end goal to produce something that the creator owns that they can then hopefully get a return on their investment? You can rest assured these new entities are going hope they have that protection in place when the VC's start expecting a return on their investment.
